Hive offers three different baby and toddler classes at our Charlestown studio. The Baby Room, Music Room and Play Room all have so many wonderful benefits in nurturing the early development of your little bee.
THE BABY ROOM
Focus on:

A one hour class that includes a musical learning session with songs, rhymes, dance and instrument play, followed by a guided sensory exploration time with our unique toys and sensory area. Social Time for Mums is included.
The Baby Room is a beautiful interactive experience designed for Babies and parents to enjoy the beginnings of their child’s creative journey. Classes include a developmentally appropriate music & movement session, designed by Hive’s early childhood music experts followed by parent connection time alongside baby play time with our high quality sensory play resources.
Each week brings a range of fresh playful ideas and activities that you can use at home with your baby plus a room full of beautiful invitations to play.

THE PLAY ROOM
Focus on:
Developing social/emotional skills & resilience
Age: 9-18 mths | 1 yr olds | 2 yr olds | 3 yr olds
Includes
A 1 hour class with a guided musical learning time followed by free exploration time in Sensory Play, Messy Play & Gross Motor Play. Exciting new themes each week.
The Play Room is a unique programme created by Hive to engage babies, toddlers and their carers in cleverly crafted educational play. With a fun new theme each week, families can look forward to original and surprising learning opportunities.
Our highly trained and talented staff host a vibrant gathering time with a focus on language and literacy through books, rhymes and songs. They use instruments, group sensory play and movement to meet in joyful learning.
Afterwards, during your rotating playtime, you can make those essential connections with other parents. Creative sensory and messy play is offered alongside opportunities to climb, balance, swing and build, all in a beautiful, safe and accepting environment.
Our Play Room Classes are available for:

THE MUSIC ROOM

Developing Musical & Cognitive skills
Age: 1 yr olds | 2 yr olds | 3 yr olds |4-5 yr olds
Includes:
A 45 min learning session filled with Songs, Rhymes, Instrument & Sensory Play, Movement & Dance led by our talented Hive musicians & singers.
Kindermusik is an AWARD WINNING research based programme presented by staff trained in early childhood development proven to increase the language, social and cognitive skills of your child.
Kindermusik classes aim to build all the skills your child needs to become a confident and successful learner for life. Harnessing the scientifically proven power of music to engage all the areas of the brain, these focused music classes will suit all learning styles from the introverted observer to the expressive active learner.
Activities are designed to encourage multisensory learning, which employs and integrates several senses at once, stimulating multiple areas of the brain.
Our Music classes are available for:
• 10 mths – 24 mths (younger siblings welcome)
• 2 Year olds (younger siblings welcome)

Unlimited Makeups
FOR ALL OUR 0-5 YR PROGRAMS
Need to miss a class? No worries!
Notify your absence no less than 2 hrs before your class (via the Client Portal) to receive a makeup token.
Makeups have a 2 month expiry, and may only be booked in while you have an active enrolment.
NB: Your makeup token will appear on your account AFTER the missed classed has finished.
