Bee-School is where talent takes root, young imaginations flourish, and creativity blooms. More than just a preschool program, Bee-School gently cultivates confident learners, and supports each child to grow into their full potential—all in preparation for a vibrant start to their school years.

Experience a unique early learning program for preschoolers aged 3 to 5. In carefully curated half-day or full-day sessions, children explore a rich blend of Art, Music, Drama, Dance & Musical Theatre, Creative Science, and Sensory Play.

BEE-SCHOOL | HALF DAY

Mon, Tue, Wed & Fri | 9am -12pm (drop off from 8:30am)

& Fri | 12pm-3pm

Our Bee-School Sessions are available for:
• 3-5 year olds (this is a drop-off/pick up session and students must be toilet trained)

Class Duration:
3 hrs

Class Location:
All Bee-School sessions are held at our Charlestown studio in Newcastle.

Class Fees:
Half Day: $54/session

Uniform:
Students are required to wear their Bee-School shirt to their sessions. These can be purchased for $35, either at reception or online HERE

Bring: 

Packed lunch and snacks, water bottle, change of clothes in a small bag. We are a nut free facility – we do have children with anaphylaxis who attend Bee-School, please ensure that you do not pack any nut products.

Preschool Art

Our preschool art program is thoughtfully designed for children aged 3-5 years, with projects that support their fine motor development while nurturing creativity!

Each lesson features age-appropriate, accessible content, gently guided through step-by-step instruction to ensure young artists feel confident and successful. Projects unfold over 2-3 weeks, allowing students to build upon their work each lesson, adding new elements to create a beautiful, display-worthy masterpiece.

Inspired by beloved authors, illustrators, and iconic artists, children explore a variety of materials—from pencil, acrylic, and watercolour to clay, wood, paper, cardboard, canvas, and fabric—encouraging hands-on discovery and artistic experimentation. Along the way, they develop foundational art skills that bring their ideas to life, sparking a lifelong love for creativity!

Preschool Music

Our preschool music classes provide students with musical learning through a world of make-believe! Whilst students explore their world of imagination, they will also build
skills in singing, listening skills, identifying musical patterns and rythmns, movement and strumming chords on the ukulele.

As they progress, students will participate in group music making, begin to read and write musical notes and focus on singing in tune and creating stories through sound.

Preschool Drama

Our preschool drama class is a story-based acting experience where young performers don’t just hear a story—they become part of the adventure!

Through imaginative play, they’ll engage with characters, act out scenes, and explore emotions in a fun and supportive environment. By using body language, facial expressions, and movement, children develop both emerging acting skills and essential social-emotional skills, learning to express themselves with confidence and creativity.

Each session encourages curiosity, empathy, and self-expression, laying the foundation for a love of storytelling and performance!

Child Safety & FAQ's

FAQ’s 

Q: Is Bee-School a licensed childcare or preschool? 

A: No. Bee-School is a series of structured learning classes. As such, the program is not classed as a childcare facility. 

Q: What processes are in place to ensure my child’s safety? 

A:

  • Child safety is a shared responsibility and all of our experienced staff take safety seriously.  Our staff are carefully selected for their ability to teach in a positive, fun and engaging manner, whilst ensuring the safety of their classroom and children at all times.  
  • All Bee-School staff hold a Working with children check and a first aid in childcare settings certificate. 
  • We have lockable pool gates at the entrance to Bee-School and at the end of the corridor. Gates are kept key locked during the Bee-School session to ensure no one can enter or exit the space during our sessions. 
  • We have minimum 3 staff members working together at all times with two small groups of children. 
  • We have safety cameras recording during the Bee-School sessions in case of any incidents. 
  • Two toilets are accessible within the art classroom at all times to children, doors are kept open and two staff work together in that space ensuring child safety. 

Q: My child has food allergies – what processes do you follow for keeping them safe? 

A: Children bring their own packed morning tea and/or lunch, and we never give children food or allow food to be shared. 

A: Children with anaphylaxis: We do have safety processes in place however ask that you call us to discuss your child’s needs first so that we can ensure a safety and medical plan is put in place prior to your first visit.

With a focus on exploration and fun, this class sparks a lifelong love of learning and discovery!

Theatre Minis

Our Theatre Minis program for preschoolers is thoughtfully designed to align with research on early talent development in singing and physical expression while fostering confidence in performance and collaboration with peers.

In this engaging class, children have a blast with costumes and props, bringing their creativity to life as they learn the lyrics and choreography to well-known songs from popular musicals.

Each session features a new song every 5 weeks, allowing young performers to delve into the music and movement while building their skills. To showcase their growth, students perform for their parents at the end of each 5-week cycle, creating a delightful experience that encourages self-expression and teamworkin a supportive environment!

Preschool Play Room

Our preschool playroom is a vibrant space designed to inspire creativity and exploration through open-ended invitations to play!

With a new theme every week, children can dive into small world setups and engaging creative activities that spark their imagination. Our playroom features sensory stations where young learners can explore different textures, colors, and materials, enhancing their sensory experiences.

Role play opportunities abound, allowing children to step into different characters and scenarios, fostering social skills and creativity. With a free-play style, kids are encouraged to explore at their own pace, making choices and discovering the joy of play in a supportive and stimulating environment!

Unlimited Makeup Classes

Can’t Make It to Class?
Life happens—we get it! Just let us know through the Client Portal at least 2 hours before your class, and we’ll send you a makeup token.

Makeup tokens are valid for 2 months and can be used anytime while your enrolment is active.

NB: Your makeup token will appear on your account AFTER the missed classed has finished.
