Theatre Mini's

Where little performers take the stage!

Two Week Satisfaction Guarantee With All New Term Enrolments

Confidence on stage starts with confidence in play. That’s exactly how we teach.

Through drama, dance, and singing, children explore storytelling and role play in fun, playful ways. Teachers use games, songs, props, and questions to draw out curiosity, helping children experiment with movement, expression, and finding their own voice.

This is the thinking behind every session in Theatre Minis. Led by our experienced teaching artists, classes are thoughtfully designed to build real performing arts skills — not just fill time with games.

Each class encourages children to explore together, take turns, and share ideas, building early friendships and communication skills alongside their creative confidence. Activities are themed around well-loved characters and stories — from Moana to The Jungle Book and The Little Mermaid — so children connect with the material in a joyful, familiar way.

At the end of each half-term and full term, families are invited to a short, informal sharing inside the classroom, where children present what they’ve been exploring. It’s a chance to celebrate their progress and enjoy a taste of performing — all in a supportive, pressure-free environment.

Meet the teachers

Our Theatre Minis program is built on years of specialist performing arts education — refined, tested, and continually improved by Hive’s team of qualified educators.

Abi Crayon holds a Master’s degree in Education (Performing Arts in Early Years) from Birmingham City University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Performing Arts Leadership from the Royal Northern College of Music, and a Bachelor of Arts in Performance from Huddersfield University. With over seventeen years’ experience designing and delivering drama and movement programs for children, Abi has led drama departments across the UK and internationally, including as Head of Drama at Notting Hill Prep School in London and Head of Elementary Drama at Stamford American International School, Singapore. Her practice is built on creating safe, joyful spaces where children can explore their imaginations, build confidence, and thrive through the performing arts.

Rebecca Hrobat holds a Diploma in Performing Arts, majoring in Acting, from The Australian College of Entertainment. Her career spans professional dance and singing performance, acting in television and film, and many years working as a producer and supervising producer in the television industry. Rebecca has taught performing arts to young children for years, including tiny tots singing classes, and was part of Murmuration, a multi-disciplinary performing arts collective. As a mother of two, she brings a natural, everyday understanding of how children learn and grow at different ages.

What this means for your family: whether Abi, Rebecca, or another qualified performing arts educator is leading your child’s class, the program itself — the structure, the technique, the creative process — stays consistent. You’re not just booking a class with a talented performer. You’re enrolling in a program built to last.
