Hive Creative Studios is a hub of activity for budding performers and musicians, offering skill development in Drama, Acting and Musical Theatre as well as piano and voice with highly skilled performing arts teachers. Our virtual program inspires creativity and skill building at home, and gives students a platform to share and connect with other like minded children.
KINDY – YEAR 9
Drama
Drama at Hive is focused on developing authentic acting skills using the face and body to express a range of emotions through expression and movement. In our online classes, students are guided by our experienced actors and drama tutors, as they engage in acting games all together and then to work with other students in breakout classrooms, creating short scripts and scenes, and build confidence in solo performances.

Musical Theatre
In Musical Theatre, the three great performing arts of singing, dancing and acting combine to create one vibrant performance experience.
In each online class, students learn to sing and refine their singing technique: working on solo singing performance which they share with their classmates. They also learn and practice dance movements and choreographed sequences for each song; engage in drama games, try out characters and work towards an end of term virtual performance. Students enjoy connecting with their teacher and classmates in this vibrant, interactive and supportive learning environment.
