Creative Preschool Classes in Newcastle
Our Preschool Creative Learning Classes for Children age 3-5 yrs are specifically designed to appeal to this age group. We offer 3 programs at our Newcastle studio, catering to students individual development and growing independence.
3 YEAR OLDS
Play Room
Our popular Play Room program for babies and toddlers, has now been extented for 3 year olds. This parent and child class holds all the benefits of the original Play Room classes (music, movement, sensory play and fresh coffee) with the addition of more open-ended invitations to play, small world set ups and and creative activities that will spark engaging dialogue between parent and child.
Bee-School
Hives Bee-School program is really something unique in terms of early childhood education. With a primary focus on the creative arts, it’s our aim to nurture creative thinking and develop talent in Art, Musicianship and Performance.
Our Bee-School program offers half-day and full-day programs for children aged 3-5 yrs. Students engage in a variety of projects and activities in Art, Design, Drama, Music, Dance, Musical Theatre, Creative Science and our popular ‘Brain Buzz’ program, designed to gear preschoolers into becoming creative thinkers in preparation for their formative school years.
Music Classes
Our preschool music classes provide students with musical learning through a world of make-believe! Whilst students explore their world of imagination, they will also build skills in singing, listening skills, identifying musical patterns and rythmns, movement and strumming chords on the ukulele.
As they progress, students will participate in group music making, begin to read and write musical notes and focus on singing in tune and creating stories through sound.
