Our after-school classes are NOT affected by the current level of restrictions and will continue as normal. The capacity limits of 4 sqm does not affect any of our classes, as we already operate within these limits due to our small class sizes.
Our staff will be adhering to strict hygiene and following all of the NSW health guidelines.
All adults entering the building are required to wear a mask and to sign in with the QR code in accordance with NSW Health orders.
DURING CLASSES: Service NSW has confirmed that students and staff are exempt from mask wearing during classes as we are an educational facility. Students (both over and under 12) are not required to wear masks during class and teachers may remove masks to give instructions and run classes.
Whilst on Hive Property – but NOT IN CLASS: Staff and Students age 13 yrs and over must wear a mask anywhere on Hive property except for during their class.

Classes where parents are in attendance: All adults must wear a mask, and cannot sing along. Only 1 adult per child may attend due to the 4 sqm rule. Hive staff are required to wear a mask during classes and will be keeping up a strict hygeine routine and following all NSW Health guidelines. All adults must sign in with the QR code before entering class.
If restrictions INCREASE OR LOCKDOWN OCCURS
All students will receive a credit to their Hive account for the full value of each class cancelled. This credit will automatically be applied against your next fees and will be available for use for any goods or services at Hive. Should you be unable to use this credit due to moving away / not returning to Hive, you may request a refund. Should a lockdown occur during 1st of month, (monthly billing) that months billing will be paused.
Most classes will move to our online teaching format to enable students to continue their planned creative learning. Hive has a full live video studio setup ready in case this eventuates. Fees and billing will continue as normal. For classes where this is not possible, the above plan (read Kindermusik plan above) will be implemented.
