‘Jungle’ Full Day Creative Camp

Join us for a full day of roaring fun! Kids will create a mixed-media jungle painting, decorate a mini pot with a real succulent and make some gooey jungle slime at the slime bar. They will then learn the lyrics and choreography to ‘I Just Can’t Wait to be King’ from the Disney classic, Lion King.

No experience necessary.

‘Puppy’ Full Day Creative Camp

Come along for some barking fun these holidays! In this workshop, kids will create an acrylic puppy painting, dalmation sculpture play-set and a cute collar for their newly adopted puppy pet!. They will get to learn puppetry performance techniques using puppets and creating adorable scenes, plus learn the lyrics and dance to ‘You’re Dancing’ from Disneys, ‘Puppy Dog Pals’.

No experience necessary. Suitable for 4-8 yrs.

‘Matilda’ Musical Theatre Workshop
+ Mini Performance

School might be out for the Spring, but the learning continues at Hive with this half day ‘Matilda’ workshop and mini performance. In this workshop we will be working on all areas of Musical Theatre from characterisation and Stage presence to ensemble singing and storytelling through song. Each group will learn a song from the show (‘Naughty’ OR ‘When I Grow Up’), along with the choreography, spending the session working towards and end of workshop performance for parents/caregivers. A workshop perfect for any budding triple threats

‘Taylor Swift’ Full Day Singing & Musical Theatre Workshop

With a specific focus on Pop singing and stage presence, our budding ‘Swifties’ will have the chance to learn one of Taylors hits (‘You Belong with Me’ OR ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’), and to sing it like a true pop star. They will also get to channel their inner pop diva to by hitting the runway for their adoring fans. Along with the ever favourite bead bar and lots of Taylor Swift themed fun this is the perfect workshop for any future pop stars.

No experience necessary. Suitable for 5-8 yrs & 9-14 yrs.

Workshop booking Policies

Holiday Workshop Fee Info

Fees displayed are per workshop, per student

Creative Kids Vouchers: submit your voucher BEFORE enroling. 

Cancellation Policy: 

Please choose carefully. Our workshop art equipment is pre-purchased and staff are booked in more than 6 weeks prior to workshops starting.  Due to these factors, the following cancellation policy applies:

• Cancellations received more than 2 weeks prior to the workshop date: 85% refund
• Cancellations received less than 2 weeks prior to the workshop date: no refund unless the exceptions below are met.
  • Exceptions #1 – If you request to cancel less than 2 weeks prior to your workshop:  We will attempt to sell your spot to another client. We keep waitlists for all workshops once they are fully booked.  If we can sell your spot, you will be offered an 85% refund or credit to your Hive account for use with future holiday workshops.
  • Exceptions #2 – Illness: If your child is sick your spot will be cancelled and you will be offered an exchange for another workshop within the same holiday period. If you are unable to reschedule to another workshop, an 85% credit will be issued to your Hive account for use in future Holiday workshops upon receipt of a doctors certificate. (this credit does not apply to term classes).

Workshop Exchanges:

You can exchange your booked workshop for any other workshop of the same value within the same holiday period wherever vacancies exist. Exchanges must be made by contacting our office and receiving confirmation from them at least 2 days prior to your booking.

Workshop information:

Full Day Bookings – Students who are booked into both the morning and afternoon sessions will be supervised between workshops while they eat lunch.  

What to Bring:

Single workshop: a snack and a waterbottle. 

Full day: 2 snacks, waterbottle and a packed lunch

Allergies / Anaphylaxis:

Notify our staff at sign in, bring an epi-pen and any medications.

Late Fees: 

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for pickup your account will be charged $10 per 15 minutes in order to cover the cost of our staff who need to stay back with your child.
